So you’re making your first fursuit and want some tips!

Tips and hints:
- You will eventually burn/cut yourself or otherwise gain injuries from making a fursuit.
- That said, if you get blood on your commission, drop everything and dab it with a damp cloth until gone.
- If you get glue on fur, leave it alone until it dries, then try to brush or cut it out.
- It takes about 4-6 yards of fur to make a fullsuit, depending on how big the person is. It takes about a yard to fur a head.
- Don't put sewing needles in your mouth
- You can always rip out mistakes, even if the face is glued down
- Airbrushing isn't an instant fur dye, please use it for accents and shading unless you are experienced with airbrushing.
- Check which way the fur is going before you cut out your pattern
- Keep a pair of scissors for each task you need them for. Fabric/sewing scissors, paper scissors, foam scissors etc.
- If there is something you hate doing, like cutting fur, do it in small doses between working on something you enjoy.
